Microneedling - Machine

As we age our skin cells essentially forget what to do. Eventually these cells are not performing the functions required for maintaining healthy/young looking skin which results in the appearance of rough uneven texture, laxity, hyperpigmentation & brown spots, dullness, redness & ruddiness. Microneedling works by creating thousands of precise micro injuries (teeny tiny microscopic holes) in the dermis which stimulates your skin’s natural ability to repair itself by forming collagen. The release of growth factors and other proteins associated with this collagen formation help the cells to “remember” & perform their functions properly. The result is skin that behaves & therefore looks healthier & younger.

Most anyone can benefit from this treatment: One of the best things about microneedling, unlike many of its alternatives such as some laser resurfacing treatments, is that it can be used safely & effectively on all types & colors of skin. It’s excellent for maintaining youthful skin & prolonging the need for more invasive & expensive treatments.

What to Expect when you come in for a Microneedling treatment: When you arrive for treatment, We cleanse your skin thoroughly. Then apply a topical numbing agent to ensure your comfort during the treatment.

• Treatment time may range from 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on how long we need to keep on the numbing cream).
• Most patients don’t feel any needles, only the vibration from the SkinPen during the procedure, with possibly a mild prickly sensation in some areas.
• A soothing mask will be applied immediately post-procedure to calm the skin.
• Mild side effects with minimal to no downtime. The skin will appear slightly pink to red immediately after, similar to a mild to moderate sunburn, but will usually just be pink & maybe a little blotchy by the next day
• You may apply a tinted mineral sunscreen or mineral makeup the next day & can resume your normal makeup regimen 24-48 hours following treatment.

For optimal results we recommend a series of 4-6 treatments spaced about 4–6 weeks apart based on your skin’s needs.

And, always, always do a makeup trial run-through before your wedding!

With makeup, remember it's not about how much makeup, but rather what products, which colors and how it's applied. In other words, it's worth hiring a professional even to look "natural"!

Bridal Makeup - Uyen

The lovely Uyen got married in November to her man Jay that she had dated off an on for at least 10 years. Anyway it was a lovely snowy evening in Logan and I was honored to be able to do her makeup. They got married in Hamilton's new reception center which was lovely. Thanks again Uyen.

Bridal Makeup - Jessi

It was a hot day in July for Jessi wedding. She got married at the Red Butte Gardens and it was a beautiful venue. Jessi was a referral from her friend Lindsay who got married a couple of months earlier. I also did her mothers makeup but was not able to get a picture. Thanks so much for the fun day with you and all your crazy bridesmaids.

Aleksandra

Aleksandra contacted me and wanted me to do her makeup for a canyon photo shoot she had. It was fun meeting her family. They came to Utah from Serbia and they love it hear and I don't blame them after her telling me they left Serbia because of war and then they moved to Bosnia only to leave again because of war.

Her younger sister was great and watched me doing her makeup the whole time, she even drew a picture of me doing her sisters makeup. :)

Erin

I enjoy watching the brides interact with others on their wedding day and watching Erin with her mom made me chuckle a bit.

Erin got married at the end of July at La Caille. The venue is great but what I really loved was the Brides Room so I have added some pictures I took with my phone to this post. I guess LaCaille is for sale so if you want to buy it, it's only 20 million!

Another June bride, Susan, found me on the thebridgeandgroom.com. She is a great person and so nice and kind. It was a pleasure doing makeup for her bridals and wedding day and waxing her brows. She got married in a beautiful reception place I wish I could remember the name. It was somewhere on Highland Drive. It had a huge staircase that she had to walk down for the wedding. I was glad it was her and not me!

Erica is another cute girl that I met at the LaCaille show. They are so cute and young. I wish I was that young sometimes but it does not do me any good to wish, but I enjoy getting the opportunity to watch these young couples in LOVE!!

Wendy's Bridal's

I got the pleasure of doing my friend, Wendy's makeup, for her bridal shoot. I love how pleased my clients are after their makeup is all done. While in the middle most think it is going to be dark but I assure them that it will look great in their photos, and it does. Wendy was no different I am so glad she liked the outcome. She makes a beautiful bride and i Love LOVE Love the red belt on the dress!!

Haley's Wedding

Haley loves to ride horses and so when she got married she did it out on the field where she rides her horse. It was a beautiful place and you would never think that would find this huge green grassy field set back off of State Street in Sandy.

Seriously when I pulled off of state street passed through the gate not even a quarter of a block away I entered into a peaceful, serene, green estate.

I then entered into the home of the lady who gives Haley riding lessons and the home was wonderful. So open and bright. It felt like you were in a log cabin up on a mountain top.

Haley and her bridesmaids were so fun they all gathered around while I did Haley's makeup and then I did all 3 of the bridesmaids as well. Such beautiful women. They shared a bottle of champagne and laughed and talked about the recent bachelorette party they had.
